Manganese & Zinc Phosphate Coating

Phosphate coatings are a crystalline conversion coating that is formed on a ferrous metal substrate. Phosphate coatings are used to promote the adhesion of organic coatings to metal substrates and to impede the rate of interfacial corrosion; it is used to retain corrosion resistant oils and waxes to add anti-galling and rust inhibiting characteristics.

Manganese phosphate is ideal for service applications and for the rapid break in of new parts. It is anti-galling and will not flake or peel off.

This process provides a micro-crystalline Zinc Phosphate coating on ferrous metals. The coating tends to be relatively uniform, non-conductive and corrosion resistant.
